**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and safely throughout the facility. This role involves performing preventative and mechanical maintenance, requiring a solid understanding of machine repair. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver with a strong work ethic, ensuring all quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in electrical and PLC manufacturing, with the ability to read and understand ladder logic and program HMIs. Candidates must be able to complete and pass an electrical board and PLC programming hands-on assessment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical repairs and make necessary adjustments.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.
+ Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems effectively.
+ Complete welding and fabrication tasks with minimal supervision.
+ Accurately enter data into the maintenance system in a timely manner.
+ Perform advanced electrical tasks to ensure safe maintenance operations.
+ Carry out other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical repair and preventive maintenance
+ PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
+ Mechanical troubleshooting skills
+ Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
+ Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
+ Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficient in plumbing
+ Skilled in mechanical work, welding, and cutting
+ Strong problem-solving skills, adherence to safety practices, and attention to quality
+ Competent in workbench and computer tasks
+ Experienced in using meters and performing measurements
+ May require CPR and first aid training
+ Trained in lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, and confined space procedures

This is a Permanent position based out of West Warwick, Rhode Island.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $111000.00/yr.
