**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will focus on three primary areas of the production floor: Frozen, Cooked, and Packaging. Your responsibilities will include setting up production lines, responding to maintenance calls, and performing preventive maintenance using the Fiix CMMS system. You will spend most of your day realigning and diagnosing meat slicing machines on the grill lines, diagnosing control panels that contain PLCs, transformers, drives, servo drives, and Honeywell burner controls. You'll work with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V and diagnose and replace motors and servo motors. Additionally, you will maintain mechanical systems such as gearboxes, shafts, and chain sprockets.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up production lines and respond to maintenance calls.
+ Perform preventive maintenance using the Fiix CMMS system.
+ Realign and diagnose meat slicing machines on grill lines.
+ Diagnose control panels with PLCs, transformers, drives, servo drives, and Honeywell burner controls.
+ Work with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V.
+ Diagnose and replace motors and servo motors.
+ Maintain mechanical systems such as gearboxes, shafts, and chain sprockets.
+ Diagnose and adjust parameters using HMI on robotic lines.
+ Perform infrequent maintenance in the flash freezing room and boiler.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance up to 480V systems.
+ Ability to understand electrical schematics for diagnosis..
+ Mechanical knowledge in maintenance on motors and gearboxes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, PowerFlex, Ultra 3000, Kinetics 5500.
+ Familiarity with robotics including Fanuc and Codian.
+ Experience in conveyor maintenance.
+ Knowledge of Fiix CMMS and servo motor systems.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean and climate-controlled food production environment where sanitation and safety practices are prioritized, including beard/hair nets, smocks, and handwashing stations. You will be part of a team of six technicians and two leads on each shift. The position requires the use of slip-resistant shoes and operates on a second shift schedule from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with two Saturdays a month. Participate in a yearly shutdown where maintenance work is required for seven days.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.75 - $30.75/hr.
