**Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a comprehensive understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, electrical systems, and die-casting machinery. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret schematics, symbols, and blueprints, and will have proficiency in using inspection tools and power tools for repair. This role requires basic machine shop skills, shop math proficiency, and the ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned.
+ Repair and service equipment in the facility, including risers, beyond plant equipment.
+ Understand and apply procedures for confined spaces, spill control, containment, prevention, and disposal.
+ Handle and maintain all chemicals safely, both liquids and solids.
+ Ensure equipment is properly locked out/tagged out and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
+ Operate power industrial trucks and boom lifts.
+ Locate and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and take required actions.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
+ Mechanical and electrical proficiency (50% mechanical vs 50% electrical).
+ Experience in troubleshooting hydraulics regularly.
+ Ability to work off electrical blueprints.
+ Proficiency in shop math skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in PLC troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase motors.
+ Commitment to non-smoking, with support for those serious about quitting.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is very loud and clean, though some areas around machinery can be dirty. The facility requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of appropriate safety equipment.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Macedonia, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Macedonia,OH.
