**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician role focuses on welding, metal fabrication, and fiberglass. This position involves the maintenance, repair, and optimization of industrial machinery and heavy equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a range of mechanical systems and equipment, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, heavy equipment, and related systems in two general buildings.
+ Work with equipment such as hydraulic presses, welding machines, automated saws, air systems, lathes (CNC & manual), pneumatic equipment, and water jet machines.
+ Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions.
+ Replace defective parts, including gears, bearings, and other components.
+ Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they result in equipment failure.
+ Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems and develop appropriate repair strategies.
+ Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup and calibration for optimal performance.
+ Adjust and fine-tune equipment settings based on operational requirements.
+ Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent.
+ Prepare reports on equipment status and provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, particularly with heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
+ Ability to troubleshoot effectively.
+ Experience in manufacturing, electrical systems, troubleshooting, repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and industrial maintenance.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Punctual, reliable, and conscientious with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
+ Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
+ Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., noise, dust, temperature extremes).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical experience is a plus.
+ Spanish speaking is a plus but not mandatory.
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and drive projects.

**Work Environment**
The work week is Monday through Thursday, from 6 am to 4:30 pm, in an open-air manufacturing environment. Employees should be prepared to work in various environmental conditions, including noise, dust, and temperature extremes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Riviera Beach, Florida.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66650.00/yr.
