Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the startup and shutdown of the plant, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly. This includes checking electrical circuits, air compressors, vacuum pumps, hydraulic punches, fume section fans, and exit doors. Daily tasks involve lubricating equipment according to preventative and predictive maintenance schedules, as well as setting up splice machines, hydraulic punches, extruders, forklifts, granulators, and industrial staple guns. Welding, brazing, and soldering skills are essential.
ResponsibilitiesPerform startup and shutdown procedures for the plant.Check and maintain electrical circuits and various plant machinery.Lubricate equipment following maintenance schedules.Set up and operate splice machines, hydraulic punches, extruders, forklifts, granulators, and industrial staple guns.Conduct welding, brazing, and soldering as required.Essential SkillsProficiency in maintenance and mechanical operations.Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance.Competency in electrical maintenance and repair.Skilled in welding, brazing, and soldering.Knowledge of hydraulic systems and compressors.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in a plant, fabrication, or shop setting.Ability to set up and tear down machines.Capability to perform basic electrical repairs.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.60 - $28.70/hr.
