Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are currently seeking skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to join our team on the 2nd shift. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work closely with the Group Leader to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. Your role will involve mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, primarily focusing on gears, bearings, and electrical components up to 480V 3-phase. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical troubleshooting on gears, bearings, and sprockets. + Troubleshoot electrically up to 480V 3-phase, including motors, motor relays, starters, and sensors on robots or PLC. + Trace down prints and collaborate with lower-level technicians to repair facility issues. + Repair and troubleshoot plant-wide equipment or machinery, including Fanuc Robots, PLCs, conveyor systems, ovens, hydraulic presses, and welding equipment. + Conduct automation work on PLCs, including troubleshooting ladder logic, motor controls, servo drives, and VFDs. + Perform 80% reactionary or preventative maintenance and 20% equipment integration, such as adding robots to conveyor systems. + Work alongside Control Engineers to reprogram or add devices on equipment. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance Electrician experience. + Ability to mechanically troubleshoot motors, gears, and robot repacks. + Experience troubleshooting up to 480V 3-phase, including VFDs, motors, and other electrical components. + Ability to read schematics and trace down prints. + Proficient in troubleshooting at least two of the following: Vision Systems, PLCs, or Fanuc Robots. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience training lower-level technicians. + Experience troubleshooting ovens or substations. + Automation experience with robotics or PLCs, including high-level troubleshooting and program adjustments. **Why Work Here?** New hires are eligible for benefits from Day 1. Our facility specializes in tempering and forming glass for windshields, with some areas reaching temperatures up to 110 degrees.
