**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and documenting work-in-process components to ensure compliance with specified requirements. You will utilize your knowledge of testing and measuring equipment within the Quality and Manufacturing departments. You will read blueprints, data, and manuals to determine the necessary specifications, inspection and testing procedures, and measuring instruments required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct and document complete first-piece inspections, including visual, dimensional, and functional testing as required by customer specifications.
+ Maintain documentation to comply with customer and company quality standards.
+ Ensure all batch record documentation is available and completed properly.
+ Determine the status of materials and release them for use.
+ Inspect parts from new molds and collaborate with Process Engineering using statistical process control techniques.
+ Participate in teams with manufacturing staff to develop corrective action plans for out-of-conformance situations.
+ Ensure operators are qualified in equipment operation and part inspection.
+ Maintain daily functions and duties of the Quality Lab in the absence of QA personnel.
+ Communicate with customers when required.
+ Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
+ Collect or select samples for testing or use as models.
+ Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products or materials to verify conformance to standards.
+ Maintain a neat and orderly working area and assist other departments in cleanliness and organization when projects overlap.
+ Encourage reporting of ideas for potential factory function improvements.
+ Maintain effective work relationships within the department, the corporation, and the community.
+ Support the Quality Management System by adhering to system requirements and providing feedback on compliance.
+ Maintain compliance with company policy and procedures.
+ Perform individual assignments as directed by management.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Excellent computer capabilities, including proficiency in MS Office.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to learn and perform job tasks to meet or exceed expectations.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Good leadership and organizational skills.
+ Working knowledge of measurement equipment.
+ Ability to work 12-hour shifts, as applicable.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must have attained all skills requirements of a Technician, Quality I.

**Work Environment**
Work in a 40-person manufacturing facility specializing in injection molding. Follow plant safety rules and help identify and eliminate safety hazards. Maintain a professional and organized workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60008.00 - $79996.80/yr.
