Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support daily production operations during the 3rd shift, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair work on various machines and components to ensure efficient production processes.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with production members to complete job assignments promptly.Support both planned and unplanned production activities as assigned.Conduct repairs on machine breakdowns including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, ladder logic, and numerical controls.Work directly with Team Leaders to enhance production downtime and efficiency.Participate in shift meetings and other required meetings.Engage in training activities to improve and master job duties.Perform robot recovery and support robot training activities when requested.Contribute to new model activities as assigned.Demonstrate effective communication skills for shift pass down information including daily performance and follow-up on machine breakdowns.Complete equipment preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.Support environmental improvement activities.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsElectrical and mechanical troubleshooting.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Knowledge of electrical systems, specifically 480V 3-phase.Familiarity with Fanuc robotics.PLC troubleshooting (must have 2 out of 5 skills: PLC and Robotics are not mandatory).Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical High School Education or equivalent experience and education.Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience utilizing team-based problem-solving techniques.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Plex or comparable ERP systems.Mechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of mechanical systems.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Ability to define and resolve problems quickly.Familiarity with OSHA regulations.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude.Understanding of technical drawings, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.Good time management skills with the discipline to self-prioritize daily activities.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fredericktown, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
