Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all company products and equipment, performing complex diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to support 24-hour production operations.

ResponsibilitiesPerform complex diagnostics and repair equipment.Establish, initiate, and maintain a preventative maintenance program.Write and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Control) programs.Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve machine/equipment problems.Interpret diagrams, blueprints, operations manuals, and specifications.Design, construct, maintain, and repair secondary fixtures.Work with production staff to analyze inconsistent machine performance.Conduct performance testing as needed.Ensure all equipment operates in accordance with safety rules.Install, modify, and maintain injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment.Complete work orders and machine record logs.Serve as the backup to the Maintenance Manager.Assist with daily housekeeping procedures.Move throughout the production floor to required workstations.Occasionally move, transport, position, or install objects.Ascend or descend onto machines and retrieve objects from floor level.Perform tasks at or above shoulder level with the use of tools.Inspect equipment up close or at a distance.Identify and distinguish colors and determine distances and spatial relationships.Communicate with others (internal or external) for various production needs.Follow any other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related duties requested.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingPreventive maintenancePLC troubleshootingPlastic injection moldingHydraulicsPneumaticsPlastic Injection Molding Maintenance: 3 years (Required)Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled except for areas right next to the machines where it can get warm. It is fairly loud due to the machines, but ear plugs and PPE are provided. The position involves working on the 2nd shift (4pm-12am, Mon-Fri) or the 3rd shift (12am-8am, Mon-Fri) with some overtime on weekends.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grandview, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $66560.00/yr.
