**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment, performing daily walk downs, and completing machine changeovers to maintain production levels. This role requires flexibility to train on the 1st shift and then transition to either the 2nd or 3rd shift. **Responsibilities** + Perform job duties safely, including wearing eye and hearing protection in designated areas. + Start and stop all equipment properly and safely. + Conduct daily walk downs to ensure machines meet efficiency and production standards. + Complete machine and line changeovers, ensuring all downstream equipment is adjusted per production schedule. + Assist Quality Control in performing first piece quality checks and document findings. + Prepare in-house computer systems with proper codes during changeover processes. + Maintain paperwork, logs, and records related to machine operations and maintenance. + Execute complete machine changeovers and calibrations independently within specified timeframes. + Collaborate with management on processing new products/materials. + Ensure proper levels of materials are introduced to the process daily. + Work with management on procurement and repair needs for processing equipment. + Order and maintain inventory of processing equipment components. + Complete product/material samples as requested. + Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment meets industry standards. + Troubleshoot equipment for processing issues. + Provide coverage for other roles during personnel shortages. + Perform housekeeping duties during machine setup according to safety regulations. + Enter production quantities into computer systems as needed. + Assist co-workers with tasks as required. **Essential Skills** + Comprehensive mechanical tools for machine tasks. + Basic mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical skills. + Constant visual attention to discern flaws in containers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ years of maintenance experience on plastic extrusion machinery. + 5+ years of mechanical/electrical repair experience. + Proficiency in plastic extrusion, electrical, mechanical repairs, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, 3-phase systems, and welding. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive environment with opportunities for internal promotion and professional growth. **Work Environment** You will work on either 2nd shift from 2:45 PM to 11:06 PM or 3rd shift from 10:45 PM to 7:06 AM, with potential extended hours into Saturday morning. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.
