**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Mechanic in ensuring that all equipment is operational and repaired promptly. This role is critical for minimizing downtime and contributing to the company's success. Currently, the manager handles all preventive maintenance, while diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting is managed by one person, which has become overwhelming. The Maintenance Technician will perform basic repairs and learn to handle equipment unique to the company. **Responsibilities** + Assist the Maintenance Mechanic in maintaining and repairing equipment. + Perform basic repairs and learn new tasks on unique equipment. + Conduct electrical wiring and repairs. + Carry out pneumatic repairs on cylinders. + Read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Understand and work with conductors and relays. **Essential Skills** + Electrical wiring and repairs + Pneumatic repairs on cylinders + Reading schematics and blueprints + Knowledge of conductors or relays + High mechanical aptitude and understanding of machines and systems + Troubleshooting skills + Experience with preventive maintenance **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Refrigeration maintenance experience is a plus + Understanding of food/GMP cleanliness + Coachable mentality + Comfortable working in a wet and cold environment **Why Work Here?** This company has contracts with major professional sports teams to supply high-quality cold-pressed juices for athletes. The environment is temperature regulated and cold year-round. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
