Seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join a highly automated bakery specializing in bun production. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems, motors, motor controls, bearings, pumps, and seals.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair conveyor systems and motors.Maintain motor controls, bearings, pumps, and seals.Conduct regular maintenance on gearboxes and pneumatics.Utilize own set of standard tools for repairs and maintenance.Ensure operational efficiency of automated bakery equipment.Essential SkillsExperience with motor control and gearboxes.Proficiency in conveyor maintenance and pneumatics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with pneumatic systems is a plus.Basic familiarity with PLC systems.Why Work Here

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, highly automated facility with approximately 70 employees. The bakery features conveyors with modular belting, ovens, pillow packing machines, automated palletizers, shrink wrapping, and HMI panels with AB PLCs. The maintenance room is equipped with welders, lathes, mills, drill presses for part fabrication, and a large inventory room for parts. Night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM are available, with flexible schedules covering Saturday to Tuesday or Wednesday to Saturday.

This is a Contract to Permanent Hire position based out of Clayton, North Carolina.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.88/hr.
