Responsible for, but not limited to the maintaining of the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center.\nPerform preventative maintenance on various equipment:\n-high speed unit sorters (Cross Belt, Tilt Tray, Sliding shoe).\n-case sorters (Narrow Belt, Pop Up, Sliding Shoe, Swivel wheel).\n-PLC controllers, understanding processes and I/O (inputs & outputs).\n-conveyor controls such as Pyramid.\n-troubleshooting photo eyes, encoders, scanners, dimensioner a plus.\n-Experience with VFD controls.\n-ASRS systems (Automatic Storage & Retrieval System).\n-MDR conveyors (Motorized Drive Roller).\n-powered curve conveyors.\nElectrical knowledge, 600v, 480v, 240v, 120v, 24v, 12v\nElectrical knowledge of transformers.\nElectrical knowledge of motor control panels.\nAbility to replace and wire up a 3 phase 480v. motor with a brake.\nAbility to replace gear box speed reducers.\nAbility to re-lace or replace a conveyor belt (Multiple sizes and lengths).\nKnowledge of air control systems (Air Compressors, Vales, actuators, cylinders, devises).\nUnderstanding and experience with hydraulics (Pumps, hoses, fittings).\nExperience with trash compactors and corrugated balers.\nPerforms maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry and painting.\nAble to read schematics, blue prints, etc.\nMust have thorough knowledge of all shop tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
