Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Engineer** **Job Description** Efficiently and effectively provide maintenance support to meet the needs of plant operations. You will maintain a safe and clean work environment for employees while providing technical expertise to support daily operations and achieve significant improvements in production-related objectives. **Responsibilities** + Actively work on department projects, tasks, and objectives. + Demonstrate experience with automation equipment and manage configuration and versions of programmable devices such as PLCs, vision camera systems, barcode scanners, intelligent sensors, and SCADA level systems. + Perform corrective and preventative maintenance repairs on a variety of electrical, mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical production equipment and building systems. + Assist with setup operator activities and installation of new equipment. + Troubleshoot breakdowns of hydraulic, pneumatic, and high voltage electrical systems. + Work from layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and verbal instructions. + Troubleshoot and diagnose CNC equipment, perform maintenance, repair, and calibration on equipment. + Conduct operational tests and repair equipment by disassembling components, repairing/replacing faulty parts, and reassembling. + Adhere to safety procedures and critical facility work rules. + Handle chemicals safely, follow SDS documents, and practice LOTO procedures. + Ensure work environment is clean, orderly, and free of safety hazards. + Complete required safety program objectives and training. + Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement programs. + Maintain the highest ethical standards and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. + Perform other activities as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience in electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting. + Knowledge of CNC equipment and repair is a plus. + High School Diploma or GED. + 24 to 36 months of trade school or equivalent experience preferred. + Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with operators, Team Leads, and Engineers. + Work independently with high quality and reliability. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to use a PC and email. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills. + Ability to lift 50 pounds manually and repetitively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with automation equipment such as PLCs and SCADA systems. + Familiarity with typical mechanics hand tools and electrical test equipment. **Why Work Here?** Join a large company with a great culture offering clean, air-controlled environments and Hawaiian shirt Fridays. Working hours vary with shifts from 1st shift 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM plus over time as needed, typically will get 5 to 10 hours of over time a week.
