**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The maintenance position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. You will be working on machines, electrical systems, and robotics for the creation of gloves used to protect users against chemicals and other harmful factors. **Responsibilities** + Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment + Perform preventive maintenance on machinery + Work with electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics + Troubleshoot PLCs and robotics + Read and interpret blueprints + Repair motors and other mechanical components + Ensure compliance with safety standards **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting + Hydraulics and pneumatics + Preventive maintenance + PLC troubleshooting + Robotics repair and maintenance + Motor repair + Blueprint reading **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2 to 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician/mechanic + Experience with maintenance software + Ability to work independently on the floor + Experience working with respirators and around chemicals **Why Work Here?** Enjoy 18 days of PTO, 11 holidays, and a comprehensive 401k plan. You may need to be on call during weekends. The production facility is temperature-controlled. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
