Maintenance Technician
**Maintenance Technician** **Pay Rate $25-$33** **Shift M-F 2:30pm -11pm** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and addressing breakdowns in a manufacturing facility. Your expertise in motor controls, industrial 3-phase power, and conveyor systems will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, conveyors, electrical and mechanical equipment, and motor controls. + Troubleshoot and repair PLCs (programming not required). + Address all breakdowns and perform required maintenance and repairs. + Conduct general handyman work such as changing lights and other necessary tasks. + Read and interpret wire diagrams and blueprints. + Conduct welding tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience with motor controls. + Experience with industrial 3-phase power up to 480V. + Preventative maintenance experience. + Ability to read wire diagrams and blueprints. + Honesty and leadership qualities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with conveyor systems is a big plus. + Welding experience. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and enjoy a dynamic work environment where your skills and expertise are valued. The schedule includes 5 – 8-hour days, with shifts from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm (hours may vary slightly). Preventative maintenance is scheduled between morning and evening sorts (2-8 am and 3-10 pm). The facility is accessible from 8 am to 4 pm. You may be asked to travel or be on call for urgent facility needs, using a company vehicle. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
