Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations team supporting production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician
**Location:** Denver, CO
**Pay Range:** Pay Rate $33/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Plan, lead, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
+ Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
+ Conduct machine tear down/repair and assembly, and work on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motors.
+ Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members, and factory leadership team.
+ Support equipment installations, retrofits, and upgrades to include vendors and contractors.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience in bottling or food manufacturing preferred.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems.
+ Capability to weld and fabricate to ensure equipment functionality.
+ Strong coaching skills to develop operators and peers on basic maintenance concepts.
+ Ability to operate a forklift as needed to complete duties.
