**Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the teardown and rebuild of all manufacturing equipment. You will utilize hand and power tools to disassemble food manufacturing equipment for the sanitation team to clean. Once the cleaning is complete, you will rebuild the equipment back to specification. This role also involves welding and fabricating, as well as experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). **Responsibilities** + Tear down and rebuild manufacturing equipment. + Use hand and power tools for disassembly and reassembly. + Collaborate with the sanitation team to ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained. + Perform welding and fabricating tasks. + Troubleshoot issues using PLC systems. + Conduct mechanical assembly based on blueprints and schematics. + Perform equipment maintenance and ensure operational efficiency. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. + Experience with PLC systems. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Understanding and experience with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Mechanical knowledge of motors, pumps, gears, and pneumatics. + Experience with VFD (Variable Frequency Drives). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Why Work Here?** The company is recognized as one of the 101 Best & Brightest companies to work for in West Michigan multiple times, offering a supportive culture and opportunities for professional growth. **Work Environment** This position operates on the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday from 9 PM to 6 AM, with occasional Saturdays required. The work environment includes an older, yet very clean and organized building, with new equipment. Expect colder temperatures throughout the facility. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
