Maintenance Technician $38-40+HR
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Millwright)** **Pay: $38-40/HR** **Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd (must be open to all)** **Job Description** As a Millwright, you will be responsible for designing, installing, fabricating, repairing, inspecting, testing, calibrating, adjusting, maintaining, modifying, constructing, cleaning, servicing, and lubricating machines, equipment, electrical controls, structures, and facilities. You will diagnose and correct problems, proactively seeking to eliminate wastes and failures. You will interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and civil drawings and schematics, interface with design and engineering personnel to ensure efficient installations and repairs, and maintain equipment documentation integrity. Additionally, you will train apprentices in all aspects of job functions and perform preventive maintenance checks, inspections, and repairs. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems. + Complete preventative mechanical maintenance. + Maintain filtering systems and steam systems. + Responsible for pipefitting and fabricating parts. + Cut, weld, braze, and fabricate tools, materials, and equipment. + Maintain and rebuild pumps as needed. + Install new equipment as required. + Maintain various equipment, including furnaces, forging equipment, band saws, large presses, cranes, trim presses, filtering systems, boilers, fan units, pumps, and occasionally CNC machines. + Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair valves. + Perform lock-out tag-out procedures. + Read and interpret hydraulic prints and symbols. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting mechanical issues. + Maintenance techniques for industrial equipment. + Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics. + Installation and welding skills. + Proficiency as a millwright. + Experience in mechanical systems diagnosis and repair. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Journeyman's card or minimum 4 years of relevant experience in mechanic work, millwright, pipefitting, fabrication, or maintenance in an industrial setting. + High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. + Industrial experience in maintenance. + Open to working all shifts due to union requirements. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers excellent pay with guaranteed raises each year and a cost of living pay.
