Job Description
This role involves working across three primary areas of the production floor: Frozen, Cooked, and Packaging. The technician will be responsible for setting up production lines, responding to maintenance calls, and performing preventive maintenance tasks. Most of the day will involve realigning and diagnosing meat slicing machines on the grill lines, diagnosing control panels, and handling various mechanical systems.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain production lines across Frozen, Cooked, and Packaging areas.Respond to maintenance calls and perform preventive maintenance tasks.Realign and diagnose meat slicing machines on the grill lines.Diagnose and troubleshoot control panels containing PLCs, transformers, drives, servo drives, and Honeywell burner controls.Load programs into PLCs and drives from the server using a laptop.Diagnose and replace motors and servo motors.Maintain mechanical systems including gearboxes, shafts, and chain sprockets.Perform maintenance on wrapping machines and robotic lines using Codian and Fanuc robots.Adjust parameters on robotic lines using HMI.Conduct infrequent maintenance on the flash freezing room and boiler.Essential SkillsExperience in electro-mechanical maintenance on systems up to 480V.Ability to understand and diagnose using electrical schematics.Proficiency in reading and understanding ladder logic in PLCs.Skill in pulling programs from the server into drives and PLCs.Mechanical background with maintenance experience on motors and gearboxes.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Allen-Bradley PLC, PowerFlex, Ultra 3000, and Kinetix 5500 systems.Experience with robotics including Fanuc and Codian.Knowledge of conveyor maintenance and Fiix CMMS.Why Work Here

Work Environment
The work environment adheres to strict food production sanitation and safety practices, including the use of beard/hair nets, smocks, and hand washing stations before entering new areas. You will be part of a team of six technicians and two leads on each shift in a clean and climate-controlled setting. Slip-resistant shoes are required. The position is on the third shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with two Saturdays a month, including a yearly shutdown where maintenance will work the entire seven days.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.75 - $30.75/hr.
