Maintenance Technician (30-37 An Hour)
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician - $30 to $37 an hour** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production lines in three primary areas: Frozen, Cooked, and Packaging. Your tasks will include setting up production lines, responding to maintenance calls, and performing preventive maintenance (PMs) using Fiix CMMS. You will spend most of your day realigning and diagnosing 'Grody's' (meat slicing machines) on the grill lines. You will also diagnose control panels that contain PLCs, transformers, drives, servo drives, and Honeywell burner controls. Electrical systems range from 24V-480V, and mechanical systems include gearboxes, shafts, and chain sprockets. The role involves occasional maintenance of wrapping machines, Codian and Fanuc robots, electromagnetic tracks, light curtains, sensors, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems. **Responsibilities** + Set up production lines in Frozen, Cooked, and Packaging areas + Respond to maintenance calls and perform preventive maintenance using Fiix CMMS + Realign and diagnose 'Grody's' (meat slicing machines) on the grill lines + Diagnose control panels containing PLCs, transformers, drives, servo drives, and Honeywell burner controls + Use a laptop to diagnose PLCs and drives and load programs from the server + Pull out and replace motors and servo motors + Maintain mechanical systems, including gearboxes, shafts, and chain sprockets + Perform maintenance on wrapping machines, Codian and Fanuc robots, electromagnetic tracks, light curtains, sensors, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems + Adjust parameters on robotic lines using HMI + Occasionally maintain the flash freezing room and boiler **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience up to 480V systems + Proficiency in diagnosing electrical systems ranging from 24V-480V + Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder logic in PLCs + Experience with pulling programs from the server into drives and PLCs + Maintenance expertise in motors and gearboxes + Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, PowerFlex drives, Ultra 3000, and Kinetics 5500 servo motors + Experience with Codian and Fanuc robots + Familiarity with conveyor maintenance and Fiix CMMS **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with robotic lines, HMI adjustments, and electromagnetic track systems + Proficiency in diagnosing and maintaining photo eyes, sensors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with excellent benefits, including three personal days after 90 days, two weeks of vacation in the second year, and three weeks in the fifth year. You will be part of a team of 6 technicians and 2 leads on each shift. The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 2pm-10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with two Saturdays a month. You will need to bring your own slip-resistant shoes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.25 - $37.00/hr.
