Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
**Maintenance Technician - Miramar Location** **2nd Shift - Mon-Thurs 2:30pm-1:45pm** **$25/hr-$31.47/hr** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for developing, maintaining, and repairing disposable Cartridge automated robotic assembly systems under cleanroom conditions. This role involves collaborating with engineers to set up, maintain, and calibrate equipment, as well as performing rework and quality testing for the production of subassemblies and final assemblies. The technician also assists in developing and executing protocols and test runs, investigating process and equipment deviations, and resolving variances as necessary. **Responsibilities** + Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot robotic automation equipment and processes to support manufacturing operations. + Recommend and implement corrective and preventative actions for processes and equipment. + Perform manufacturing process work and integrate with others to complete assignments in support of the overall work plan. + Perform equipment setup, cleaning, changeover of lines, and general housekeeping. + Maintain and troubleshoot packaging machines, including multi-vac packaging machines. + Set up machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise. + Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes on vacuum pumps, monitoring chillers, and cleaning and replacing dyes in printers. **Essential Skills** + Experience in maintenance, machine mechanics, PLC, robotics, and repair. + Multi Vac machine experience. + Proficiency in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting. + Ability to use tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters. + Mechanical aptitude and experience working on pick and place or automated robotic machinery. + Familiarity with pneumatic systems and basic facility maintenance. + Computer and Excel skills for documentation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with two pick and place robots and a box machine. + Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing medical device manufacturing company with a strong company culture.
