We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of slicing, packaging, and press machinery used in our food production processes, including products like sliced fruit and juice. This role requires both mechanical and electrical expertise to support our operations.
ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs on slicers, packaging machines, and fruit presses.Conduct mechanical repairs on conveyors, belts, bearings, gears, and pumps.Manage electrical repairs on single/3 phase motors, fuses, relays, and 120-480v components.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery, including PLC systems.Implement preventive maintenance strategies to ensure equipment efficiency.Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills5+ years of experience in food manufacturing maintenance.Proficiency in pneumatics, mechanical repair, and troubleshooting.3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical repairs.Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and PLC systems.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in refrigeration is a plus.Experience in machine building and fabrication is highly desirable.

Work Environment
Work hours are 3pm - 11pm, Monday through Friday. You will be working in a GMP environment requiring a hair net, beard net, smocks, steel toe shoes, and safety glasses. Bring your own tools. Please note, there is no ammonia refrigeration involved in this role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
