Job Title: Maintenance Technician- $up to 35/hr
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of electronics and manufacturing equipment. This includes maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment such as PLC controllers, ovens, and conveyors. The technician is also responsible for installing, inspecting, and enhancing equipment performance while adhering to safety, quality, and operational efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical maintenance on equipment including felt lines, molding equipment, presses, robotics (ABB Robots), and water jets.Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems and understand the intricacies of electrical panels/cabinets.Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, particularly presses.Set up and install new equipment for facility upgrades.Troubleshoot and maintain motors, sensors, photo eyes, switches, proxy switches, and color sensors.Maintain and troubleshoot junction boxes and terminal switches.Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace wires.Perform facilities maintenance tasks such as lighting.Document maintenance activities and preventive maintenance schedules in CMMS systems (ShireSystem).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a large 300,000 square foot facility with around 350 employees, manufacturing parts from natural and synthetic fibers, primarily recycled materials. The company is dedicated to eco-friendly practices. The facility includes presses, compressors, felt lines, and blending lines. Choose from openings on days (6a-6p) or nights (6p-6a) with a 2 on-3 off-3 on-2 off schedule, working 15 days per month with every other weekend off. Night shifts offer a $0.75 additional premium.
