**Job Title: Maintenance Technician | $25+/HR** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the startup and maintenance of equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency through regular adjustments and line changeovers. Your role will involve monitoring equipment, inspecting units visually and through testing, adjusting various components, and performing preventive maintenance. You will also be responsible for training line operators and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. **Responsibilities** + Start up and maintain equipment, making necessary adjustments and performing line changeovers. + Monitor equipment and adjust settings to ensure maximum efficiency. + Inspect units visually and test weld seams, using tools such as veneers and height gauges. + Adjust score dies and repair riveters when metal changes occur. + Perform die changes and make necessary adjustments in the press room. + Conduct preventive maintenance in the slitting department and lubricate equipment. + Train line operators on the use of welders and seamers. + Document preventive maintenance procedures and log completion dates. + Follow company safety standards and handle hazardous waste according to legal requirements. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting. + Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. + Experience with conveyor maintenance and preventive maintenance. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Skill in performing die changes and equipment changeovers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to communicate positively with coworkers. + Willingness to work necessary hours and overtime. + One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent experience. + Journeyman training completion and certifications in CPR, basic first aid, and Lockout/Tagout. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team that values safety, continuous improvement, and professional development.
