**Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift** **Job Description** This position is for a Maintenance Technician working on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed. The role involves maintaining and supporting product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity, specifically focusing on power transmission mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer in the mixing/mill area. The technician will be responsible for responding to downtime situations to restore machine functionality and conducting preventative maintenance on all work cells. Proper documentation of maintenance performed is required, along with evaluating and identifying potential future maintenance needs and issues. The role also includes performing process verification procedures and following deviation procedures when changing parameters. **Responsibilities** + Conduct maintenance and support of product-specific work cells to minimize downtime. + Respond promptly to downtime situations to restore machine functionality. + Perform preventative maintenance and document maintenance performed. + Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs and issues. + Perform process verification procedures and follow deviation procedures when changing parameters. + Repair and replace bearings, hydraulic pumps, cooling pumps, conveyors, belts, drives, and drive material transfers. + Conduct minor facility maintenance repairs and collaborate closely with others on maintenance issues. **Essential Skills** + 5 years experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance. + 3 years experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs. + 3 years experience in reading blueprints. + Proficiency in facilities maintenance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with heavy mixing equipment. + Experience in automation. + Automotive background. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy numerous career growth opportunities within the maintenance department.
