**Maintenance Technician(s) Needed in Cassopolis!** + **_2nd and 3rd shifts available_** + **_$24-28/hour_** + **_Multiple openings_** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in an aluminum extrusion environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance, including preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and facilities maintenance. You will work on a variety of machinery, such as CNCs, brake presses, lasers, and powder coating machines, ensuring production runs smoothly. + Participate in shift change meetings to discuss maintenance priorities. + Perform reactive maintenance to keep production running efficiently. + Repair and maintain extrusion machines, including 3-phase 480v motors, servo and AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gear boxes. + Conduct preventive maintenance tasks like greasing bearings and tightening bolts. + Troubleshoot and maintain machines operated on PLCs. Essential Skills + Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting. + Experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting. + Knowledge of 3-phase 480v systems and ability to read schematics. + Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. + Experience with hydraulic presses and PLC control systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Welding skills are beneficial. + Experience in facilities maintenance and previous extrusion work. You will start with 8-10 hour shifts, working towards an on-call program. The facility operates on three shifts: 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm, 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, and 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Expect to work major PM programs typically in July and December. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cassopolis, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
