Maintenance Technical Supervisor

**About the Role:**
The Maintenance Technical Supervisor oversees a multi-craftteam providing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fabrication, machining, welding,and carpentry services. Supporting Product Research and Development (PRD) inboth GMP and non-GMP environments, the supervisor ensures reliable maintenanceacross pilot plants, labs, clinical manufacturing, offices, utilities, andbuilding infrastructure. The role manages HVAC mechanics, electricians,pipefitters, welders, instrument technicians, and machinists, ensuring safe,efficient operations that enable scientific innovation.
**What You’ll Do:**
Ensures that all facilities areoperated and maintained in a cost-effective and safe condition in accordancewith the approved budget and the customer’s requirements to fulfill O&Mcontractual obligations.
Maintains a proactiverelationship with customer and understand business needs of individual customerareas. Communicates those business needsto CBRE management. Communicate withcustomers at all levels regarding maintenance requests, on-going statusreports, completion dates and other issues regarding services being provided.
Reviews and approvesexpenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, materials and additional Jobrequirements. May assist with input forpreparation of facility budget.
Communicates leadershipphilosophy, objectives and expectations to CBRE O&M staff in a continuingeffort to build the team.
Supervises facilities craftpersonnel including hiring, promotions, recognition, discipline, andperformance management. Plans, directs,and monitors the performance management process to include the development andimplementation of work unit objectives that align with organizational andcorporate priorities.
Prioritize and assign work foreach crew member and contractor as needed, for example, contractors who performbio-hood PMs.
Receive requests for emergency or non-scheduled work fromcustomers and determine the priority and actions to be taken. Following Conduct of Maintenance principles,assign crew members to job assignments in GMARS, based on work order backlogsand priorities established by the planner/scheduler, and available hours.
Ensure that all crew members have received the appropriatetechnical, safety and procedural training and are qualified, before assigningwork to them. Work with each crew memberto develop a comprehensive ITP curriculum based on technical, safety, qualityand environmental standards.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
+ Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training and experience. The minimum salary for the Intern position is $20.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Intern position is $22.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
