Maintenance Tech
**Now hiring Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing!** **Job Objective** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of repairs and general maintenance on manufacturing equipment to support safe, efficient, and continuous operations. **Shifts:** + 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm + Weekend, Friday 11 pm - 11am, Sunday 11am - 11pm, and one 8 hr shift during the week **Key Responsibilities** + Perform general maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to: + Jigs + Dollies and trucks + Spray guns + Doors and locks + Receiving gates + Loading docks + Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed. + Transport materials internally throughout the plant as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Education** + Vocational or technical school education is a plus. **Requirements** + Must supply and maintain own trade-related tools necessary to perform assigned tasks. + Ability to work effectively with limited direct supervision. + Must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills. + Willingness to learn new skills, including welding. + Knowledge of plumbing and piping is a plus. **Required Skills & Abilities** Candidates must demonstrate strong mechanical skills and the ability to: + Read, write, and speak English + Follow manufacturing and equipment specifications + Perform basic math calculations + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics + Use a computer for recordkeeping and communication + Use and understand measuring devices and tolerances + Safely operate various hand and power tools + Learn and apply quality standards for workmanship and product + Use machine tools such as drills, lathes, and milling machines + Obtain and maintain forklift, pallet jack, and/or man-lift licenses **Special Credentials / Competencies** + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work well with others in a team environment + Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented **About ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of:** **Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells** _ManpowerGroup® (NYSE: MAN), the leading global workforce solutions company, helps organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing, and managing the talent that enables them to win.
