Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The role involves working with up to 500-ton injection mold presses and plastic extrusion equipment. You will manage screw-in dies, hydraulic machines, and water coolers for part cooling.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot 3-axis robots and hot runner systems.Handle systems up to 480V and perform preventative maintenance routines.Replace pumps and motors on hydraulic machines.Troubleshoot PLCs, prox switches, and sensors.Implement lock-out tag-out procedures.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in plastic injection maintenance.Experience with 500-ton machinery.3 years of hydraulic troubleshooting experience.Proficiency in troubleshooting 480V systems.Experience with 3-axis robot troubleshooting and repair.Additional Skills & QualificationsPlastic processing experience.5-7 years of plastic injection experience.Rotary and 2-shot experience.Experience with bolstered tool/stack.6-axis robot troubleshooting and repair.Extrusion experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a 100,000 sq ft facility alongside 100-120 employees. The facility is equipped with plastic injection and extrusion equipment, dual profile rotary, double-shot injection presses, Engels and Van Dorns, and 60-ton overhead cranes. The 2nd shift operates from 2pm to 10:30am, 5-6 days a week, with alternating weekends off when working on Saturdays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Orion Township, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $62000.00/yr.

30 days after starting benefits kick in. 401k, medical, dental, vision, short term life

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Lake Orion,MI.
