**Job Title: Maintenance Technician 1** Job Description As a Maintenance Technician 1, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and emergency repair of processing equipment, including bottle filling machines and plastic blow molding equipment. Your role requires a good degree of mechanical aptitude to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform light electrical troubleshooting, and conduct MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on processing equipment. + Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform light electrical troubleshooting. + Conduct MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. + Utilize hand tools such as grinders and drills, and operate forklifts. + Comply with OSHA Health and Safety rules. + Perform other duties as assigned, including sweeping, cleaning, organizing, bottling, filling, and packaging. + Participate in preventive maintenance, focusing on packaging, fillers, and mechanical troubleshooting. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a production environment. + Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of troubleshooting techniques. + Proficiency in MIG welding. + Experience in operating hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Knowledge of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with packaging equipment is a plus. + Bottling and blow molding experience is highly desired. + Experience in food production is preferred. Work Environment You will be part of a dynamic team working within four departments: juice extraction, processing, filling, and plastics. The work primarily involves bottle filling and bottle molding machines, handling six different product lines. During the harvest season, expect to work six days a week, with 12-hour shifts from 6 am to 6 pm. The company operates three shifts: 1st (6:00 am-2:30 pm), 2nd (2:00 pm-10:30 pm), and 3rd (10:00 pm-6:30 am), with overtime and a minimum of one day off per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DEL REY, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
