Maintenance System Coordinator

Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, and South America. The Role As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a Maintenance System Coordinator to our team of professionals. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, The Maintenance System Coordinator is responsible for 1. Coordinate Maintenance: - Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager to ensure proper scheduling and prioritization of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. 2. Ensure Scheduled Tasks are Completed: - Monitor and track the progress of scheduled maintenance, ensuring all tasks are completed on time. Provide daily follow-up, highlighting production priorities. 3. System Optimization and Automation: - Collaborate with other production teams to identify opportunities for automating manual processes and enhancing production systems through the integration of software tools. 4. Asset Management: - Responsible for maintaining accurate asset records in the CMMS system, ensuring proper classification and data updates. 5. Inventory support: - Collaborate and support Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager. Oversee spare parts and materials inventory management, ensuring availability of critical components and minimizing costs. 6. Process Improvement: - Identify and implement maintenance process improvements, using data analysis to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime. 7. Maintain control of preventive maintenance procedures: - Ensuring accurate scheduling, execution, and documentation to optimize equipment reliability and compliance. 8. Training and Development: - Provide training and updates to the production staff to ensure they are up to date with the latest processes, technologies and safety procedures. 9. Compliance & Standards: - Ensure maintenance activities adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards, and comply with internal policies. Required Skills & Qualifications - Strong knowledge of our processing systems and machines. - Proficiency in MS Office applications. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational and time management abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
