Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to manage and support various personnel, including skilled trades and housekeeping staff, within our facility. This role involves overseeing projects, ensuring safe operations, and solving building operational issues while maintaining effective communication with building occupants.
Responsibilities
Manage UAW skilled trades and 3rd party housekeeping staff as needed.Investigate, plan, and implement projects assigned by the Site Manager and Maintenance Manager.Conduct safe operating tours to ensure proper operation and supervise sub-contractors.Provide on-site coverage during weekend production or maintenance projects.Communicate regularly with building occupants about the status of projects and ensure timely completion.Assist in providing coverage of supervisors for training and vacation.Meet daily with alternate shift supervisors to address outstanding issues or upcoming projects.Manage corrective, emergency, and preventative maintenance of building equipment.Ensure compliance with government regulatory standards, including EPA/OSHA.Maintain document control and record retention.Ensure appropriate levels of inventory are maintained to minimize downtime.Establish relationships with key contacts at each facility to keep them informed of work order status.Essential Skills
3-5 years of industry experience in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.Strong interpersonal and management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Experience working in a unionized environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of maintenance supervision experience overseeing UAW employees.Experience in safety, following CBAs, managing projects, and tracking parts and POs.Excellent customer service skills.Why Work Here?

This role operates within an industrial plant setting, which can be hot in the summer and winter months.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lake Orion, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
