Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, working Monday to Thursday from 4 PM to 2:30 AM. In this role, you will supervise and mentor the maintenance team during night shifts to support production needs. You will engage in both reactive and proactive planning to minimize unplanned downtime, working closely with the first shift team and Planner to achieve department goals for the Kinston operation.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support day-to-day activities of Maintenance Department personnel.Generate work orders, track progress, and follow up as needed.Order and source parts necessary for completing maintenance tasks.Collaborate with production supervisors, production personnel, and maintenance personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility and equipment.Drive continuous improvement and maintain a safe work environment.Administer consistent and equitable application of company policies.Ensure repairs and maintenance to facilities and equipment are completed safely and efficiently.Ensure all work conforms to established codes, guidelines, or standards by a manufacturer or regulating body.Complete follow-up work as necessary to maintain facility and equipment in good working order.Essential SkillsSupervision experience in maintenance management.Ability to mentor and lead a team of maintenance technicians.Proficiency in generating and managing work orders.Knowledge of safety standards including Lock Out procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in continuous improvement activities.Understanding of Environmental Compliance regulations.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Why Work Here?Be part of a dynamic team where continuous improvement and safety are prioritized.
