Job Title: Maintenance SupervisorJob Description

The Maintenance Supervisor will spend 85% of their time in the field and 15% in the office. This role involves supervising and managing shop and yard personnel, including welders, framers, painters, and equipment operators. The position requires project management skills, including quality control for all modification jobs and facility maintenance, ensuring a safe, clean, compliant, and efficient work environment.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage shop and yard personnel, including welders, framers, painters, and equipment operators.Manage project quality control for all modification jobs and facility maintenance.Maintain a safe, clean, compliant, and efficient work environment.Procure, track, and manage tools, materials, and supplies required for modification work.Liaise with the Sales team and other departments to ensure project alignment.Assist in identifying labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.Anticipate, address, and resolve discrepancies by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information.Assist with special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.Essential SkillsSupervisory skills with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.Proficiency in yard work, fabrication, and industrial manufacturing.Experience with work orders and process improvement.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and NetSuite.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions in all seasons.Valid driver's license with the ability to commute to Newark, NJ.Why Work Here?
