**Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our state-of-the-art wafer and cracker plant in Front Royal, VA. This facility, one of our largest in North America, produces over 150 million pounds annually and employs more than 350 team members. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our six highly automated production lines within a supportive, team-oriented culture. 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Saturday 10pm - 6am (on call as needed) **Responsibilities** + Monitor and track work orders and preventive maintenance on lines and equipment to maintain maximum efficiency. + Manage work assignments and hold staff accountable for assignments and equipment performance. + Ensure documentation for all necessary facility and equipment maintenance is completed on shift. + Provide timely feedback, coaching, and mentoring to team members. + Supervise and develop employees effectively and compassionately. + Resolve employee issues and document disciplinary actions and performance recognition. + Promote a strong teamwork environment and maintain a positive work atmosphere. + Enforce safety rules and good manufacturing practices within the department. + Facilitate appropriate consequence management for under-performing team members. + Ensure team members remove parts from inventory per the management system. + Respond to emergencies and demonstrate good troubleshooting skills. + Communicate across departments and shifts to determine operational conditions and priorities. + Provide suggestions to improve processes and identify potential cost savings. + Provide comprehensive shift handoffs to the incoming shift and management team both orally and in writing. **Essential Skills** + Experience in maintenance management and supervision. + Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems. + Ability to read schematics and use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). + Excellent communication skills. + Experience in industrial supervision and preventive maintenance. + Strong commitment to safety and compliance with GMPs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficient computer skills. + Experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join our team to work in a cutting-edge facility with a strong team-oriented culture.
