Under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician Supervisor will be responsible for repairing machines and conducting routine plant maintenance activities. This role requires diagnosing machine malfunctions, inspecting machines, and making necessary repairs and adjustments to ensure continuous production.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose machine malfunctions and operating problems.Inspect machines and observe operations to detect the cause of malfunctions.Make repairs and adjustments to keep machinery in production.Repair and maintain company machinery according to blueprints, catalogs, and data charts.Disassemble and rebuild machines; overhaul troublesome components and attachments.Dismantle, inspect, machine, and/or replace purchased parts.Select replacement parts from parts lists and catalogs.Lay out repair parts; set up and operate machine tools to machine parts.Improvise some tooling as needed.Perform machinist's work related to the installation of new machine tools or the relocation of existing machines.Work as part of a project team to complete assignments.Perform routine housekeeping activities in the work area.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical, maintenance technician tasks, mechanical, and hydraulics.Experience in preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsJourneyman qualification is a big plus.Ability to work independently.Supervisor level experience is also considered.Why Work Here?Enjoy the benefits of working in a climate-controlled environment with access to eight clean rooms.
