Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor role involves spending 75% of the time on the floor, starting the day by communicating with the night shift, meeting with the maintenance team to review downtime reports, and overseeing breakdowns and repairs. The role also includes managing the PM program, completing check points with techs in training, and providing daily feedback.

Responsibilities

Communicate with night shift at the start of the day.Meet with maintenance team to review downtime reports and discuss issues.Oversee breakdowns and ensure technicians are effectively handling repairs.Manage the preventive maintenance program.Complete check points with training technicians and conduct end-of-week tests.Provide daily feedback to the maintenance team.

Essential Skills

Basic troubleshooting experience.Experience troubleshooting 480v 3-phase systems.Mechanical aptitude.Manufacturing experience.Computer skills.Leadership and coaching experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to be hands-on.Ability to coach and teach rather than enforce through write-ups.

Work Environment

Work in a facility that is a Tier 1/2 source for automotive glass, supplying major brands such as Ford, Honda, Stellantis, and GM. The environment is extremely clean and deadline-driven, with temperatures reaching up to 110 degrees in the summer due to glass tempering and forming processes. The role requires availability Monday through Friday from 5:45 AM to 2 or 2:30 PM, with the need to be on call 24/7 and occasionally meet the third shift early.

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $88000.00/yr.
