Maintenance Supervisor
**Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor** Job Description Join an established family-owned business with over 50 years of excellence in producing custom electrical enclosure solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about industrial maintenance and leadership. Responsibilities + Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedures. + Manage the Maintenance Work Order Tracker by prioritizing tasks and verifying work completion. + Ensure the plant is operational at all times. + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to the facility, including lighting, electrical panels, plumbing, and building repair. + Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues on equipment such as stamping presses, brake presses, powder coating systems, lasers, automated tunnel presses, compressors, and other general manufacturing equipment. + Oversee the Eye for Safety Program. + Collaborate with managers and the production manager to implement company policies and goals. + Supervise and motivate a team of workers. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including CNC, hydraulics, electrical, and PLCs. + At least 3 years of experience managing employees in a manufacturing setting. + Strong experience in 5S Lean manufacturing. + Proven leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment. + Strong systems knowledge of MS Office Applications, with an emphasis on Excel and Word. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance supervision. + Familiarity with schematic interpretation and preventive maintenance. + Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles. + Experience in welding and maintenance repair. Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled, featuring large fans throughout the site to maintain airflow. The role operates on the 1st shift, from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
