Maintenance Specialist – Evening Shift
Location: Oakdale, CA
Pay Rate: $40/hour
Shift: Evenings (6 AM – 2:30 PM)
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Oakdale. This role is critical to ensure the smooth operation of our plant by performing planned maintenance, troubleshooting and programming PLCs, and maintaining all electrical systems in accordance with safety, GMP, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Pull and label new wires; install motor controls Replace and repair conduit, including bends, runs, and related components Install, maintain, and operate all plant electrical systems (e.g., switch gear, high/low voltage, drives, lighting) Set up electronic equipment for scheduled production runs Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic equipment (e.g., wiring, scales, metal detectors) Troubleshoot and program PLCs and encoder systems Conduct daily and weekly electrical preventive maintenance (PMs) Fabricate custom electronic parts as needed Implement safety devices on production lines Complete required documentation (PMs, Work Orders, Centerline reports) in EnglishQualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required College or trade school education preferredExperience: Minimum 1 year of electrical/electronic or related experience PLC certification preferredSkills & Knowledge: Understanding of plant safety, GMPs, and confined space protocols Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English Proficient with electronic testing equipment and planned maintenance procedures Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and prints Capable of completing work and purchase requests

Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs.
