Job Description
This is a first shift opening for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler with a large automotive supplier. You will work closely with purchasing to ensure that the correct parts are ordered for department projects. As the point of contact for all building contractors, you will provide and communicate the schedule of all contractor activities.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimize the system to track delivery and storage of required components.Develop maintenance plans and preventive maintenance schedules with required parts, manpower, and equipment to meet the needs of the production department.Interact with departments to ensure project demands are completed on time.Facilitate meetings to acquire timing and equipment releases for scheduled maintenance.Provide updates to management on the status of scheduled maintenance and identify inhibitors that could delay completion.Notify all parties immediately of any setbacks extending the completion of scheduled work.Communicate with the maintenance team about scheduled maintenance activities.Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.Essential SkillsTechnical school degree in electronic controls or industrial maintenance, or 10 years of hands-on experience working with automation machines.7 to 10 years of experience in electrical and hydraulic equipment maintenance preferred.Background with hydraulic pumps, valves, and electrical controls.Ability to read PLC ladder logic, preferably Siemens or Allen Bradley.Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.Knowledge of three-phase motor controls and AC/DC servo drives.Additional Skills & QualificationsSome fabrication skills desired, but not required.Experience with scheduling software and maintenance documentation.Why Work Here

The work environment is within a heavy stamping plant where the noise level is loud. It is not climate-controlled but semi-controlled with fans.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
