Job Description
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for managing all data related to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) within the maintenance department. This crucial role involves the creation of maintenance plans, generation of Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules, and making necessary modifications within the CMMS. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
ResponsibilitiesAssess procedures and optimize them when necessary.Coordinate maintenance work to ensure proper facility upkeep.Evaluate maintenance requests, prioritize them, and process work assignments efficiently.Create a 4-week outlook based on all planned and scheduled work orders.Develop a weekly Plan of Work (POW) of work orders and review it with the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.Ensure compliance with all safety policies.Schedule contractors or subcontractors for maintenance work.Maintain records of yearly inspections and schedule them accordingly.Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures related to maintenance functions.Communicate the expected quality and safety standards in the performance of maintenance work orders and PMs.Perform other duties as assigned for the Planner/Scheduler role.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.Minimum 3 years of experience working with a CMMS.Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ability to report them weekly to the Maintenance Manager.Knowledge of the difference between Preventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance (PdM).Ability to delegate maintenance POW Work Orders to Supervisors/Leads for daily scheduling.Experience in developing and maintaining maintenance plans and implementing them for each equipment type.Additional Skills & QualificationsSkill in planning and scheduling maintenance work.Ability to assess and optimize procedures.Experience in coordinating maintenance work to ensure proper facility maintenance.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
