You will work closely with manufacturing departments to help eliminate downtime and identify potential areas of improvement. Your role includes robotics and PLC programming, general factory automation experience, troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, and modifying production equipment per engineering instructions. You will service and repair air compressors, air dryers, conveyors, hydraulics, electric motors, pneumatics, and general plant and molding equipment, as well as complete accurate documentation of PM machine records. Basic plumbing and carpentry skills are also required, and you must be able to supply your own basic tools. Responsibilities + Maintain and repair various machines in the manufacturing facility. + Collaborate with manufacturing departments to reduce downtime. + Identify potential areas of improvement. + Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment. + Modify production equipment based on engineering instructions. + Service and repair air compressors, air dryers, conveyors, hydraulics, electric motors, pneumatics, and molding equipment. + Document PM machine records accurately. + Perform basic plumbing and carpentry tasks. Essential Skills + Minimum 5 years experience in the Manufacturing Maintenance field. + Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Ability to repair hydraulic and pneumatic machinery. + Experience in general factory automation. + Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques. + Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Basic computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. + Proficiency in mig & tig welding. + PLC programming skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Arc, TIG, or MIG welding skills are a plus. + Advanced PLC programming skills are advantageous. + Experience with mills is a plus. Why Work Here?
