As a Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech II, you’ll be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Distribution Center equipment. This position is also responsible for assisting with facility repairs as needed. This Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech II is expected to be proactive and can perform their work at a high level with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities Responsible for following all Safety policies in compliance with Rain Bird Safety Standards and ProgramsPerform tasks to increase Equipment Uptime and Reliability Perform periodic Preventative Maintenance tasksProvide troubleshooting skills to make mechanical/electrical repairs to equipmentCommunicate issues/improvements/ideas between department members and SupervisionResponsible for reviewing Corrective Work Orders via Smartsheets or CMMS software and update as requiredTroubleshoot equipment/machinery to determine issue and repair in a safe/timely manner Light Fabrication Work as needed Work alongside the Operations team in resolving equipment issues Qualifications Follow Safety Policies and Lock Out/Tag Out proceduresHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industrial MaintenanceAbility to perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repairsKnowledge and ability to understand Electrical/Mechanical DrawingsExperience repairing complex equipment/machinery Knowledge and experience with computers (Ability to research parts, machines, etc.)Strong Work EthicExcellent communication skills and ability to work well with othersAbility to complete tasks timely

 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Working toward or have received a Technical Degree or EquivalentProblem solving experienceKnowledge in Continuous Improvement (Improve equipment with new designs/modifications)5+ Years of Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Experience
