Position Overview:
Support production equipment and processes to ensure highest level of equipment uptime, efficiency, and quality.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctionsPerform routine & planned PM activities on designated production equipmentCoordinate with and assist contract service providers in completing complex machine repairs and startupsWork cross functionally with other maintenance personnel and departments to support production needsPerform all duties as assigned in compliance with company safety standards Qualifications Ability to operate forklift, cranes, powertools, and other handtools in support of troubleshooting and repair functionsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and other equipment related documentationAbility to organize, plan, and prioritize work with minimal supervisionAbility to clearly communicate, both written and verbally, details of a technical nature related to equipment issues and repair needsAbility to work in a diverse team oriented environment
Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year or technical school and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
