Direct Hire 1st shift **Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will utilize your problem-solving skills to perform root-cause analysis on essential machines. You will troubleshoot using knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems to repair, move, and maintain machines and tools. **Responsibilities** + Keep manufacturing equipment operational by diagnosing equipment failures, effecting repairs, and testing equipment to ensure failures have been corrected. + Source parts and services on a priority basis to get critical equipment back into operation. + Manage replacement part inventory and re-stock as needed. + Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities while ensuring timely completion and accuracy. + Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, catalogs, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Inspect buildings, machines, equipment, structures, and materials to determine necessary repairs. + Estimate costs of repairs and purchase supplies and parts from distributors or stores. + Perform routine facilities maintenance. + Exhibit a working knowledge of health and safety, being responsible for safety awareness and improving the culture of safety within the organization. + Show flexibility in work hours to perform maintenance and provide emergency repairs outside of normal work schedule. + Carry out other tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in relation to machine and building service, rebuild, and repair. + Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. + Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. + Proficiency in PLC programming and diagnostics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent required. + AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred but not necessary. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work environment where you are provided with free uniforms and shorts upon direct hire, as well as the flexibility to wear shorts during shifts. The facility is a large supplier to the motorsports industry, producing frames and accessories. It is a newer shop that has recently undergone renovation and expansion. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Rogers, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
