Job Description Position Overview The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machining equipment and supporting facility systems in a high precision aerospace manufacturing environment. This role places a heavy emphasis on hydraulic systems across CNC machines, waterjet systems, and laser cutting equipment. This position will be the sole maintenance mechanic initially, with the opportunity to add support as the company grows. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance (Primary Focus) • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC mills and lathes (Haas – 27 machines) • Perform hydraulic system maintenance, including hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves • Support waterjet and laser cutting equipment, including large scale systems o Bystronic laser cutting machines • Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic issues on production equipment • Maintain multi stage and standalone pump systems associated with machining and cutting equipment Facility Maintenance • Perform general facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, basic HVAC, restrooms) • Coordinate with external vendors for complex building systems when needed • Ensure overall facility uptime and safety Preventive & Emergency Maintenance • Execute preventive maintenance schedules • Respond to equipment breakdowns and production critical issues • Be available on call for emergency repairs outside normal hours ________________________________________ We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements • 10+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments • Strong hydraulics experience (required) o Hydraulic motors, pumps, valves, and system troubleshooting • Experience maintaining CNC machining equipment (mills and lathes) • Electrical troubleshooting experience (industrial equipment) • Experience supporting large industrial equipment (waterjets, lasers, presses, or similar) • Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs across the facility • Aerospace manufacturing environment experience • Experience with waterjet or laser cutting systems • Background in heavy equipment or industrial machinery maintenance o Tractors, combines, industrial machinery, or similar systems • Familiarity with press brakes • Comfortable supporting a facility as the sole on site maintenance technician
