Maintenance Mechanic
Job Title: Maintenance MechanicJob Description

The Maintenance Mechanic is a vital role responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation. This position requires training on the day shift before moving to a swing shift with minimal supervision.

ResponsibilitiesDiagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues on production equipment such as corrugators, die cutters, flexo folder gluers, conveyors, and material-handling systems.Perform repairs, adjustments, and part replacements to restore equipment to optimal operating condition.Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and document all work performed.Assist with machine changeovers, setups, and calibrations as needed.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and mechanical systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsSTB certification required.Experience with conveyors and large-scale machinery is beneficial.Ability to work mandatory overtime and flexible with schedule changes.Why Work Here?

The work environment is fast-paced and can be loud and hot, especially during summer. The facility operates various types of machinery including 112\" Multiflute Corrugator, 62\" Single Face Laminator, and more. The facility is large and requires working in different temperature conditions depending on the season.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $46.00/hr.
