Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our 1st shift and a Maintenance Mechanic Helper for our 2nd shift. You will work with various automated rope braiding machines, ranging from small to extra-large. This is a guaranteed opportunity to join our team, with optional Saturday work for extra hours.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting and repairs on automated rope braiding machines.Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure machines operate efficiently.Utilize mechanical skills to maintain and repair various sizes of braiding machines.Work collaboratively with the team to ensure production goals are met.Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

Industrial or manufacturing expereince.2-3+ years of Maintenance Mechanic experience.Proficiency in electrical and industrial troubleshooting.Ability to perform maintenance repairs.Ownership of personal hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

CNC experience is a plus but not required.Experience in manufacturing and machine operation.Ability to work in loud environments with necessary protective gear.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean and organized manufacturing facility filled with automated machines. The environment is warm with room temperature settings. All ropes are organized and color-coded. It is quite loud inside, so wearing hearing protection and steel-toed boots is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fall River, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
