Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a full time Maintenance Mechanic to join one of their large food processing clients at their Melrose, MN facility. This would be a permanent role; 2nd shift with the hours of 12:00pm to 8:30pm and 3rd shift with the hours of 8:00pm to 4:30 AM on M-F with OT eligibility. In this role, you would be responsible for Perform preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on all plant equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electromechanical and solid‑state systems. Work with the maintenance team to complete work orders on schedule. Support Emergency Response Team activities as needed. Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors. The pay range for this position is in tiers decided by the client post interview, ranging from $23-$29, with multiple bonus opportunities. Skills and Requirements Proven ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently, with strong attention to detail and follow‑through. • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose issues and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation across multiple departments. • Ability to safely lift and maneuver items exceeding 40 lbs. as needed. • Solid foundational understanding of maintenance practices, tools, and equipment. • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to support documentation, instructions, and team coordination Associate’s degree (2‑year) in a maintenance‑related, mechanical, or industrial technical field. • Relevant mechanical certifications and/or a registered license within the mechanical trade, demonstrating validated technical competency
